Chocolate And Orange Vanilla Tear & Share

Indulgent and oh so festive, this recipe for a chocolate orange St Pierre Brioche Tear and Share combines two classic Christmas flavours into one, easy to make dessert.

Ingredients
  • 1 St Pierre Vanilla Brioche Tear & Share
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 40g butter
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 150g icing sugar
  • 3 tsp good quality orange extract
  • 3 satsumas or clementines, peeled
Method
  1. Melt the chocolate with the butter in a microwave or in a bowl over a pan of hot (not boiling) water then stir in the orange oil and cocoa powder. Beat in the icing sugar
  2. Slice the Slice the Vanilla Tear & Share in half horizontally then spread the frosting over the bottom piece
  3. Cut most of the satsuma segments into 2 or 3 pieces (keeping a few whole for garnish) then arrange over the frosting
  4. Place on the top of the brioche and cut into squares
  5. Decorate each square with a little orange flavoured chocolate if you like and garnish the plate with the rest of the satsuma segments
