Chocolate And Orange Vanilla Tear & Share

A festive christmas easy to make dessert
Indulgent and oh so festive, this recipe for a chocolate orange St Pierre Brioche Tear and Share combines two classic Christmas flavours into one, easy to make dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 St Pierre Vanilla Brioche Tear & Share
- 100g dark chocolate
- 40g butter
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 150g icing sugar
- 3 tsp good quality orange extract
- 3 satsumas or clementines, peeled
Method
- Melt the chocolate with the butter in a microwave or in a bowl over a pan of hot (not boiling) water then stir in the orange oil and cocoa powder. Beat in the icing sugar
- Slice the Slice the Vanilla Tear & Share in half horizontally then spread the frosting over the bottom piece
- Cut most of the satsuma segments into 2 or 3 pieces (keeping a few whole for garnish) then arrange over the frosting
- Place on the top of the brioche and cut into squares
- Decorate each square with a little orange flavoured chocolate if you like and garnish the plate with the rest of the satsuma segments
